Meet Daryl Kruger

 

Daryl Kruger, Run Lab’s founder and manager, is a highly qualified physiotherapist who specializes in manual therapy, orthopaedic and rehabilitation therapy and sports injuries.        

        

A dedicated sportsman and keen runner, who also completed the full 42,2km Jerusalem Marathon in March 2018, as well as half marathons and 10km events, also enjoys his Park Runs and one on one training with his clients.

Daryl Kruger, Run Lab’s founder and manager, is a highly qualified physiotherapist who specializes in manual therapy, orthopaedic and rehabilitation therapy and sports injuries.        

        

A dedicated sportsman and keen runner, who also completed the full 42,2km Jerusalem Marathon in March 2018, as well as half marathons and 10km events, also enjoys his Park Runs and one on one training with his clients.

In addition, Daryl is a qualified Pilates and Kettlebell instructor, who has completed numerous sports and running rehabilitation courses both locally and internationally in the USA, Canada, England and Australia. Daryl will be attending an international running conference in October 2019, in Brighton, UK. This is a further opportunity to see, hear and question 10 acclaimed experts from the world of Running Injury and Performance, coming from as far field as Australia, Canada and the USA, besides the lecturers from England. The title of the Conference is: Putting Evidence Back into Running Injury and Performance. 

 

Based on this experience he has now opened RUN LAB, which utilizes the latest technology and scientific knowledge to improve the performance of both experienced and novice runners.

   ABOUT RUN LAB     

 

RUN LAB is a physiotherapy based running analysis and improvement studio, based in Norwood, Johannesburg, developed, equipped to optimize professional and amateur athletes’ running techniques thereby helping them to attain the ideal and proper running form for each individual. The lab also aims to reduce the incidence of injury risk, by analyzing and improving running technique, as well as ensuring that each athlete has the correct running shoes that best suits his / her style, posture and performance. In a nut shell, RunLab aims at huge results of improved running performance and economy.
